Where does the Temple Bar Ceili take place?
It started in Temple Bar (hence the name) but now we travel all over. We  book a private room in a venue depending on the size of the group.

How many people can take part in the Temple Bar Ceili?
We can cater for any size groups.

What exactly is included in the price?
Pre event management, venue hire (unless otherwise informed at time of booking). The number of dancers, dance instructors, musicians etc depends on the size of the group and their budget. We tailor-make each event individually to suit your group’s needs and expectations.

For Groups over 80 we will need PA, Lights and Stage.

What happens during a typical Temple Bar Ceili?
On arrival the group will be directed to a private room, where The Temple Bar Ceili MC and Caller musicians, dancers and a dance instructors will greet the group. The MC and dancers start by teaching the basic 123 steps and the swing. Throughout the night THE MC will introduce and demonstrate each dance, the musicians will play music and sing songs accompanying the dancing and  when giving the group a rest. There is great interaction throughout the Ceili, both among the group and with our staff. The MC and dancers will show the group the basic steps and guide them with the dances.   

Can you arrange dinner or finger food?
We can arrange Dinner or finger food should you require – You can pay the establishment directly for the food on the night.

What is the start time?
We are very flexible on the start time and would work within your requirements.

How long does it take?
Each night is tailor made and the Show can last from 45 minutes to two hours.

How do you book a Ceili?
If you call the office with the dates you have in mind we can check the availability for the dates and then we can place your booking on the system as a provisional booking – we can hold the dates for a limited period of time and we would require a deposit to confirm the dates.

What are the payment terms?
We can hold a booking provisionally for 5 working days. In order to confirm your booking we require a 50% deposit and the balance of the payment must be paid two weeks in advance of the event.
